Mutually Beneficial Partnerships

The alternative jet fuel was produced through the efforts of the Washington State University-led Northwest Advanced Renewables Alliance (NARA). In the fall of 2016, Alaska Airlines made history flying the first commercial flight using the world’s first renewable, alternative jet fuel made from forest residuals, the limbs and branches that remained after the harvesting of managed forests.

WSU has a long history of collaboration with corporations and foundations to leverage WSU’s world-class research, technology development, and outreach to maximize opportunities that advance industry. By helping match your organization’s interests with WSU’s talented faculty and students, the WSU Foundation Office of Corporate Relations can assists in establishing partnerships and collaborations that are mutually beneficial for your organization and for WSU
